ABOUT
RESTORED IMAGE
TRANSFORMING LIVES TOGETHER
Our internal resources and partnerships allow us to assist individuals within our communities by enhancing their quality of life while enriching their self-image through restoring their dignity, self-esteem, and self-worth.
ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
Making Changes in our Community
The goal of Restored Image is to build outreach within our area homeless shelters, churches, businesses, and local public schools. It is alarming that many people don’t know about local, state, and federal resources that are available to them. This lack of understanding can have serious consequences, particularly for individuals who don’t have health insurance or access to basic life needs.
What We Do
We work side by side with partners within our communities to ensure that these individuals have support in attaining the essential items they need to support themselves and their families. We invest our time and resources into organizing community clothing drives, furniture drives, charitable donations and providing access to affordable health care coverage.
OUR PARTNERS
The partnership with local organizations, agencies, foundations, and community groups makes a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of so many people. Partner with us to make positive changes in our community!
RESTORING LIVES
Message from the Board President – Manuel “Manny” Barajas
“During my time as an educator, school principal, and athletic coach, I saw firsthand that many students struggled with a positive body image in their early years. This often resulted in continued challenges into their adult life. Restored Image was created to focus on providing you with the resources to develop healthy eating and exercise habits that result in strong minds and bodies, habits that increase the odds of their success in later life. With the help of my board and volunteers, Restored Image has expanded into the organization it is today. Still focused on our original mission, we’ve grown to also provide the homeless and people transitioning from incarceration with both tangible and intangible assistance. We present Community Educational events that ensure that underserved communities understand, and have access to, the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their healthcare, insurance coverage, finances, and more.
Thank you for your interest in Restored Image. Together we Give Hope, Secure Health, and Restore Lives!”

Each week they assist in areas where our ministry serves people in need by helping with insurance needs, job connections, as well as basic life needs:). What a blessing knowing these needs are being met on the streets in Tampa!”
